Enquiry form
If you use the enquiry form, we process the details you provide (name, company if given, email address, selected topics, and your goal and context description) to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract).
We use your details solely to respond to your request. No storage beyond sending the email.
Server log files
Visiting this website causes the hosting provider to automatically record access data for technical reasons: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, and browser used (user agent). This data is generated on every page view, independently of the enquiry form. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operational security and error analysis). Retention follows the hosting provider's standard log retention period, typically a few days to weeks.
Hosting and technical processing
This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). The enquiry form is sent through Brevo's (Sendinblue SAS) transactional email API. Data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with both providers, based on their respective standard agreements. The data processing agreement with Cloudflare also covers audience measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Transfers outside the EU
The hosting provider named above, Cloudflare, is based in the USA, a country outside the EU/EEA. Operating this website and measuring audience with Cloudflare Web Analytics can therefore involve a transfer of data to a third country. This transfer relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Ticket booking via Eventbrite
We use Eventbrite, Inc. (USA) for booking event tickets. We do not embed any Eventbrite widget or scripts. The booking button is a plain link — only when you click it does Eventbrite's page (USA) open in a new tab. Before you click, our website transmits no data from your browser to Eventbrite. Eventbrite processes booking data as an independent controller. Booking a ticket can involve a transfer of data to the USA. This transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Signing up for date announcements
If you sign up for our newsletter date list, we use your email address to tell you about new workshops and dates. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We use double opt-in. Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) processes the list and sends the newsletter as our processor. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future and unsubscribe through the link in every email. Questions: hello@flavorfocuslab.de.
Cookies and audience measurement
This website itself does not set cookies. To understand how many people visit the pages, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.). This does not set cookies and does not create user profiles; it only records aggregated information such as the page visited, referring page, country, browser, and load time. The retention period for this data follows Cloudflare's standard periods. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in tailoring the website to actual usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider Cloudflare may set technically necessary cookies (e.g. for bot management or caching); these serve solely to operate the website securely.
Your rights
You have the right, at any time, to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectify (Art. 16 GDPR), erase (Art. 17 GDPR), restrict the processing of (Art. 18 GDPR) and receive a copy of (Art. 20 GDPR) your data, and to object to its processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
